Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Yeah, but if I tell you that Petey's Gyros in Bumfuck, Ohio is the best fast food then it has no meaning to you. What the point of that thread be?

So ya gotta play the game and give chains.....

Grown men dont order chicken strips....
agreed.
I tend not to order anything that is duplicated on the "kids menu".....

I can make chicken strips in 10 minutes in my own oven, why would I go out and order them? More of a snack than a meal, IMO.
Real men don't put chicken strips in an oven.
Real men don't eat.
Real men eat lesser men.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

You definitely want to have quick access to a toilet for the next 24 hours.

i've found that most food that comes from a truck is more sanitary than food that comes from restaurants in buildings. I've never gotten sick from a food cart....and I eat at one 3-4 times a week.

I've only gotten seriously sick one time, at FatBurger. My tip is to avoid the 1/2 pound king burger and stick to the 1/3 pound burgers.

I have had food poisoning many a time with fast food. Long John Silver's, McDonald's and Dairy Queen have all got me bad.

Pizza X got me really good freshman year. Had an overnight bought of throwing up (I wanna say 7 times during the night, but I can't be sure), next morning I woke up feeling like a champ. Weirdest thing..

On subject, I love Taco Bell and Arby's, but I agree with the food truck theme. Minneapolis has some of the nation's best food trucks, including Smack Shack, a great lobster truck. (http://smack-shack.com/)
