Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I hope we fuck Butler up to show those bandwagonners what's up..
Well, it's a good year to play them. Not sure if Indiana will "fuck them up", but they should probably win that game.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

IU plays Note our Shame not Butler.
IU plays Notre Dame and Butler.
Timmy,

U r correct Iu plays Butler in some preseason tourney. Iu also plays at Evansville if i remember correct.
Yupp. I think IU opens up Evansville's new stadium. Not 100% on that though.
Butler actually has the first game there. I believe it's two days before Indiana's game. At least that's what the billboards around here say.

Well this one is hard to predict because we have pretty much everyone back from last year along with the addition of Zeller, but I don't want to get over zealous like I did last year; therefore I will say (drum roll please)

18-15, 8-10, 1-1 B10 Tourney, and a seventh place finish in the B10.

I really think we could win a couple more games with that pre-season schedule, but I don't want to get let down this season.

I was pretty close to having 20 wins, but they haven't proven they can win on the road. I believe they may only have one or two road wins in the past two years in the B10.

We only have two road wins total (@ Penn State on 01-21-10 and @ Chaminade) in three years under Tom Crean. We also have 1 neutral court victory vs. Pitt in that timespan. Over that time period, I think we are 3-42 in games listed as away, semi-home, or neutral on kenpom.com. I believe that would also put our Big Ten road record at 1-27 over that time frame (not including BTT). Ouch all around.
