Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I say yes they do. I think Kevin Wilson is the injection of energy the program needed and I say that, along with an easy schedule, lift the Hoosiers to a surprise shit bowl game.

Huge IU football fan....but I definitely don't think so. Offensive playmakers aren't there....shoddy QBs to choose from, no Tandon Doss, and a sure to be injured Willis in the backfield.

Even with the easy OOC slate of Ball State, Virginia, South Carolina State, and North Texas I say we will drop one of those and only get one conference win. I say 4-8.

I look at a game like the one at North Texas -- who was only 3-9 last year -- and I worry about losing it. They have a running back coming back who has put up over 2,900 yards the last two seasons and ended last year by rushing for 270 yards against Kansas State....

It's scary because I can't imagine us having a guy on our team that would be capable of an individual performance like that, yet there are guys at crummy mid majors who can.

Yes, having KW makes a difference. I think last year we would have made a bowl game if Lynch had been able to make in game changes. It seemed that in almost every game (minus the whisky game) we were in it until the 2nd half where all of a sudden the team would fall apart. Offensivlely we would get shut down and defensively couldn't stop a high school team.

I know that we were just a catch from making a bowl game, but I don't think it should have come down to a dropped ball.

No. Lack of experience at QB in the Big Ten? May Tebow have mercy on our souls.

Wilson orders cereal removed from the breakfast menu: Whenever IU gets close to a bowl, they choke.

no. second opinion...no. i do like the wilson hire for the long run, presuming he is given a chance to prove himself. but, this is simply not a good football team. move calhoun over to depaul, you'd still need to rinse the system of the decay.
