| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! Go Tebow!

I just read Rick Reilly's new article which looks back on Flight 93 and it got me thinking about what happened that day. Personally, it's hard for me to believe that it's already been 10 years since the terrorist attacks on 9/11. It seems like it was just a couple of years ago that I was sitting in the auditorium taking the ISTEP test with my fellow classmates when a counselor came and told us that there had been terrorist attacks on our country. At the time I barely even knew what that meant, and I had no idea of knowing how big of a deal it was going to be. I think it really sank in when we started watching the coverage in different classes and seeing some of the teachers crying as they watched. You know it's a big deal when no matter who you talk to, they remember exactly where they were and what they were doing at that moment in time. I guess that brings us to this weekend. The NFL is starting up along with college football, pennant races are coming down to the wire, we're all excited about the start of basketball season, and the biggest argument on OHB right now is which pumpkin ale is our favorite; none of which would be possible without the people that serve our country every day. Kind of rambling here, but I just wanted to say thanks to the people that make the USA such a wonderful place to live in as well as to remember the ones who lost their lives on 9/11. I have airline tickets for Sunday. 9/11. I didn't realize it was that day until I booked the trip for work. |

It's really weird to me when I talk to cousins, nieces, and nephews who were too young to remember that day, and only know about it from history class in school....it just seems like yesterday to me still. |
![]() The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism. | |
