I just traded Peyton Hillis for Roddy White in a league. Here are some of my predictions. Neither Arian Foster nor Adrian Peterson end up as the top overall point scorer for running backs. Josh Freeman does not make the leap to top 10 QB as most think. Neither will Matthew Stafford. Brandon Jacobs has a better fantasy year than Ahmad Bradshaw (this is a tough one. should be close) Michael Vick does not end up as a top 5 QB Shonn Greene continues to suck - draft bust |

Shonn Greene I absolutely agree with.....I don't get the love for him. I actually had him 37th on my list of running backs ONLY. He's not going to be a workhorse with Tomlinson around and as long as LaDainian is there, he is going to be the back they look to for catches out of the backfield. I drafted Vick, but he worries me for value at the point I drafted him. The one thing I like is that as long as he's healthy, he's guaranteed points with his legs, so even if he regresses passing he is going to not be a complete bust. Some predictions of mine: LeSean McCoy will struggle to be a top ten back as not as many throws go his way and Ronnie Brown starts getting the ball in some goal line situations. Jerome Harrison will be a valuable late season pick up as Detroit learns what they have in him. In Indy, Reggie Wayne will keep his numbers up with the absence of Manning, but all the other receivers will see their numbers drop. Miles Austin will have a better year than team mate Dez Bryant. Tony Romo will outscore Tom Brady in fantasy points. Ryan Fitzpatrick will outscore Ben Roethlisberger in fantasy points. If Jamaal Charles just gets 16 runs/game, he will lead the league in points. |

Some bold predictions there, Brum! I don't think there's any chance Romo does better than Brady or Fitz better than Big Ben. I agree about Reggie Wayne and I think Charles will get way more than 16 runs/game. |

Part way into the fourth quarter, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ben Roethlisberger are making me look like a genius... Fitz: 17 of 25, 208 yards, 4 TDs, no int. Ben: 15 of 29, 183 yards, 1 TD, 3 int. |

Ben threw 5 interceptions all last year...3 in one day? Yikes. And he fumbled twice to boot. The McCoy prediction doesn't look good so far as he put up 122 yards on the ground with 2 TDs...what I said about him getting reduced touches did hold true -- 15 carries and 2 receptions. Tony Romo put up decent fantasy numbers but also showed why he's a better fantasy player than real player as he gave the game away. Miles Austin did put more points than Bryant, but in Bryant's defense he was having a nice day when he came up lame and wasn't the same after. |

Romno may have been good, but Tom Brady has 350 yards passing and 3 TD passes...in 3 quarters

Ended with 517 yards. Connected on a 99 yard pass late when the Dolphins for some reason blitzed everyone down scores when a safety would have kept them.....still down two scores. Chad Henne had a beast game as well -- 30 of 49, 416 yards, 2 TD, and a meaningless INT as time ran out. Also ran for 59 yards and a touchdown. The 933 yards passing combined set an NFL record. 4 receivers for each side caught 5 or more passes. I ended up starting Moreno over Bush this week -- and it doesn't matter because I've already won -- but Bush ended up having a good fantasy week despite not running all that well. 11 carries for 38 yards, but caught 9 passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. I think that works out to about 30 points. |

My prediction: I win one of my leagues due to intimidation from the best name ever. Shamelessly stolen from a Matthew Berry article: I Plaxidentally Shot Myself |

So far: Shonn Greene is a fantasy bust, just like dreach and I said. I worried about Vick's health. Already has cost me a game. I was correct about not as many throws going McCoy's way. Wrong about him being a top ten back...badly wrong. 4 TDs and over 6 yards per carry have him as the #1 back right now. Jerome Harrison hasn't done much, but has gotten 12 carries in the first two games despite leaving camp as their third back. Reggie Wayne currently on pace for 88 catches for nearly 1,400 yards. Everybody else not getting thrown to much. Good on that one. Tony Romo beating Tom Brady in points? Not going to happen. And the funny thing is that it isn't anything Romo's doing -- he's completeed 62% of his passes, is getting 10 yards PER PASS, and has 4 TDs to 1 INT. He did have to sit out part of the San Fran game because of injury, then came back out to lead to a victory despite playing with fractured ribs. But right now no one looks like they will be close to putting up the numbers that Brady will this year. My favorite prediction was the Fitzpatrick over Roethlisberger one because it was probably the one that I had the most confidence in and it was one other people wouldn't buy. I think Fitzpatrick has some underrated receivers -- particularly Stevie Johnson. I also think that getting rid of Lee Evans was a positive, not a negative, because it gets Nelson on the field more. Fitzpatrick is a cerebral type of quarterback, Evans is anything but a cerebral receiver -- he's a burner who drops a lot of easy passes. Johnson and Nelson fit Fitz perfectly. Meanwhile, two of Ben's main targets -- Hines Ward and Heath Miller -- both seemed to have the wall age wise last year, especially Ward. Outside of Wallace, he simply doesn't have the weapons. Jamaal Charles? We'll never find out, because he's obviously not going to get the touches now. Miles Austin leads the league in receiving points; he has more touchdown catches than Bryant has catches. Nailed that one so far. Edited by brumdog44, Sep 20 2011, 07:51 PM.

New update on my picks: Shonn Greene has continued to be a fantasy bust, but now he's a fantasy bust I traded for. I think he is better than he has played and does provided guaranteed carries and the price was right. McCoy has seen fewer passes thrown his way and is only getting 15 carries per game....but he's getting close to 6 yards per carry and is fifth in points/game. Right on his touches, wrong on production. Jerome Harrison is non-existent. Way wrong on that. Pierre Garcon is outscoring a Reggie Wayne. WTF. Tony Romo will not outscore Tom Brady. Yeck. Ryan Fitzpatrick is outscoring Big Ben by five points/game...finally right on one. |

But Fitz has slowed and Big Ben threw 5 TDs last week. |
