Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Looks like Crean is going more national with his recruiting and has recently started recruiting this guy for 2013. Randle is ranked 3rd in the ESPNU rankings, and he is an absolute beast. Judging by all the schools that are recruiting him, I don't think we have much of a chance of landing him. But could you imagine having a frontcourt with Zeller, Perea, and then Randle? That would be flat out nasty.

Yeah, I like the ambition, but can't help but think our time would be better spent elsewhere. But hey, I guess you never know if you don't try.

i applaud the move. The more crean recruits high-end players, the more credible this program becomes. Not to mention that it will put more pressure on in-state recruits to commit to our program.

Crean and Painter have been looking out of state a lot in 2013, especially Kentucky. I think it kinda speaks to the overall strength of the in-state group. Anyways, I don't know how much longer the whole "look at the other schools recruiting him" argument will stand. If Crean can get us turned around, I'm hoping that IU will be recruiting toe-to-toe with the big guns just like we were earlier this decade.
Death to Signatures.

Not necessarily. I'm sure he still pursued high caliber players in the past, it's just a non-factor when IU was literally worth NOTHING at the time of his recruiting.
