Wow Brum, as a Ron Paul supporter, you must be a member of the "little L" wing of the libertarian party. Maybe there were some members of the "little kkk" wing of the Klan who supported Obama... http://www.ronpaul.com/on-the-issues/global-warming/

Okay, fine, you win, whatever. I still find his views on most subjects very interesting and very intelligent. I still want to know why you won't vote for me. Why do you continue to support RINOs? Better yet, which RINO is it this week? Is it the one who signed an executive order to give 12 year old girls an immunization against the HPV virus, or is it the one who claims that the shot causes mental retardation? I don't know who made the latter claim, but if your mom got the vaccination, it helps make his case. I vote for the best candidate, not for the one with an "R" by his/her name, so the "RINO" label means nothing to me, but nice try. I would vote for Paul if he won the nomination. I'm smart enough to know Cain is a LONG shot at this point. '12 1) Cain 2) Romney '08 1) Guiliani 2) Romney |

Sure you do. The fact that you don't know who made the retardation claim shows how much of a political homer you are. You would have been all over Obama if he had made a statement like that. |

Lars, Michele made the comment and pretty much ended her race. She totally fucked that up because she had a legit knock on Perry that could have brought her back in. She instead went on the Today show the day after the debate and ended her chances. She had Perry on the run and fell flat on her face and he got away. Well it frees up a lot of weekends for me because I now have no dog in the fight and regardless who are next president is he will be a clown. |

BG -- how did that ruin her race? I have no idea what the fuck you're referring to, which leads me to believe that most of America doesn't either.. |

Btown, To win a primary you need two things. $$$$ and volunteers Now McCain survived for about 4 month on his own money and die hard volunteers. Michele does not have McCain like money. Michele last week on the today show said something to the effect of "A mother I had never met before came up to me after the debate and thanked me. She said her daughter took the HPV vaccine and a a result became mentally retarded." What she said might of happened but it shifted the debate from whether Perry was guilty of corruption. I believe Texas was the only state that required the vaccine. Texas actually never required it because the state legislature struck down the executive order. Perry had two issues there that could have popped his balloon. One his use of an executive order to require vaccinations. Two The crony capitalism because his former chief of staff was the one pushing for the executive order and he now works for the manufacturer. So instead talking about corruption and abuse of power she went after the vaccine. That blew up in her face as the FDA had no reports of the vaccine causing mental retardation. Hence her support base took a hit and her fundraising took a hit. |

Her race was already done. You can only be crazy for so long between episodes. http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/461290_Candidate-Bachmann-s-comments-on-cancer-vaccine-for-girls-upsets-physicians.html |

I'm well aware that she is the first mentally handicapped person to run for office, but i don't think one incident ruined her chances. She has a long history of mental retardation. |

I find this very disappointing. This and some of the other items I've seen lately would lead me not to vote for him. Doesn't mean I don't still find many of his takes very interesting, and in a lot of cases, correct. Still don't understand why you like neo-cons and not him. |

it looks as though Paul views evolution (likely meaning the version where everything originated from one organism) as a theory, which is technically what it is. Do you have a problem with someone not viewing this theory as "fact"? |

not asking to debate the merits of evolution...I've just never heard you say that you expect it to be thought of as fact |

Dictionary sup·po·si·tion noun /ˌsəpəˈziSHən/ suppositions, plural 1.An uncertain belief hy·poth·e·sis noun /hîˈpäTHəsis/ hypotheses, plural 1.A supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation 2.A proposition made as a basis for reasoning, without any assumption of its truth the·o·ry noun /ˈTHçərç/ /ˈTHi(ə)rç/ theories, plural 1.A supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, esp. one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained 2.A set of principles on which the practice of an activity is based 3.An idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action 4.A collection of propositions to illustrate the principles of a subject I would be shocked if Brum stated it was fact. It just works better with more supporting evidence to explain things than anything else we have run across to this point. By being a scientific theory it is generally accepted it could be shown to be wrong at some future point if data is found to suggest so. |

If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed Meat is Murder. Sweet, delicious murder. | |
