Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

*chuckles* I pride myself on gift giving. That year he also got an vintage pin from the 1987 NCAA Championship as well as the DVD from that championship. Do you know what a girl gets when she showers a man with IU Hoosier Goodies?

Anything she wants.

Oh yeah. :D

So basically you're using IU basketball as an intermediary to have Rockspeed wrapped around your finger? I have to admit, that is pretty savvy. Not really fair, but definitely savvy, haha.

I need a girl that will buy me IU goodies that also knows what a TB network drive is, and would be appreciative for me buying her one. I want to go to there.

Haha, I had to look up what that was.

RSG, it sounds like if he's getting awesome IU memorabilia and gifts and you're getting a network drive that he's definitely getting the better of the relationship.

I guess if you're both happy that's all that matters though :P

BTown: That totally made me smile. There are more of us out there I think. We usually congregate at sci-fi/popular arts conventions and, of course, the internet as a whole.:)

Obatskii: Absolutely. I never "claimed" a college team so I'm happy to cheer for IU and join in on his obsession (albeit late). It's one of the few things sportswise we can agree on.

I can just imagine you at games at such then..... must have REALLLLY been something when you watched your first basketball game with him. Have you guys had the chance to watch one in Assembly Hall? I'm sure so since hes got all that office stuff.

It is seriously a religion around here. I would get in a fight with 3 larger UK fans, alone, for the pride of my team. And to think most the state is born into it like that.. IU basketball is just special. VERY caring fan base, so much that we want IU basketball news 24/7. It's a phenomena, and it's nothing you can quite explain. I get chills sitting in Assembly Hall, jumping up and down with the fans. I absolutely soak up the atmosphere there in Btown. I will live there eventually haha.

Glad to have ya aboard! Tell your hubby to get his ass back STAT! :P

This super warm welcome is quite delightful! Danke schoen! :)

tAmazingHoosier: Believe it or not, I've never watched an IU basketball game with him.

*notes the stunned silence*

Now, before I'm burned at the stake, I'd like to state that this will be remedied shortly when basketball season begins anew. Hopefully we will be able to see a game in Assembly Hall when we are home for the holidays. He is so animated and serious about it....*sighs* I look forward to enjoying it with him. The loyalty of the IU fanbase is so awesome. It's always great to see fans that are committed to the bandwagon even when/if it's burning.

sirbrian: I'm not easily scared.
Dumbfounded? Definitely.
Scared? Not so much. :P
.......Now I will say I was scared that one time when Rockspeed thought I was wearing Purdue loungepants to bed...THAT was pretty scary.
