Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Did you see the game? He made a bunch of long, accurate throws, and dispelled the myth that he can't throw the ball. There's no doubt he's still way too inconsistent, but that may improve with more experience.

He's hit deep throws this year...that hasn't been his problem. He averaged 13.7 yards per completion, which I believe led the NFL. It's the intermediate throws that have killed him.

On throws between 11 and 20 yards, he completed only 37% of his passes. Those are the bread and butter throws in the NFL; compare that with Cutler (58%), Rodgers (65%) or run of the mill guys like Matt Moore (53%), Joe Flacco (54%), or even the piss poor guys like Curtis Painter (57%) and Rex Grossman (58%).

Tebow played a very good game against Pittsburgh, but to think that he 'dispelled the myth that he can't throw the ball' is laughable. This century, no quaterbacks with the minimum number of attempts to be considered a starter has completed passes at a lower rate than him....and that's a list that includes two seasons of JaMarcus Russell.

ESPN showing once again why everyone hates the Tebow hype. The front page poll is 'Is it time for the Tebow critics to shut up?'

I'm a big of an ESPN guy as there is, but even I thought it was dumb that they made headline news of the fact he received a $250,000 bonus for winning. Good for him, but boat doesn't care.

If Tebow is in any other division, nobody would be talking about him right now, because he wouldn't be in the playoffs. Denver was the beneficiary of a terrible division.

In eight of his twelve starts this year, he completed under 50% of his passes....which means he was under half completions 66.6 repeating percent of the time.

I would be extremely surprised if Tim Tebow ends up with more than 50 NFL start as a quarterback in his career. If he does, that really says alot about the overall QB talent in the league.Very hard for me to believe that there aren't AT LEAST 50 guys that could play that position better/more efficiently than Tebow does.

I'm already extremely surprised that Denver is in the playoffs and beat Pittsburgh last weekend.
