Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Brum,

Just curious. If the taxpayers bought you out for almost a million dollars, would you turn around and expect unemployment benefits? This has absolutely nothing to do with politics.

Tell Lars the thread has nothing to do with politics when he throw's Obama's name out (like always).

And of course I wouldn't do it nor do I respect anyone that does it. Not sure what other opinion you are expecting to get.

I'd rather hear your opinion than your bizarro Lars (seinfeld) replies.

Not trying to be a dick, but what other opinion than it's a selfish, stupid act to do what she did could one have?

If you noticed in the article, some moron negotiated that they wouldn't contest her unemployment. Who could have possibly thought that that was a good idea? Makes absolutely no sense. When you are playing with taxpayer money you definitely contest her unemployment, imo.

Her unemployment is peanuts compared to the million dollar buyout. Why be pissed about the unemployment when the buyout was the issue?

And in the case of million dollar buyouts, that's not specific to government jobs.

Im not saying it is specific to government jobs. Just saying that if she was foolishly offered a settlement that large, unemployment should have been out of the question.
