Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I've been through Arkansas too, and I agree, beautiful state.

(As an avid True Crime reader), on our way to Texas, I remember passing the murder site of the WM3 at Robin Hood Hills.

I would appreciate having a Sig Banner, I have never had one. I would say IU bb with maybe Coach Knight and Coach Crean with a theme of "Back to the National Championship Scene". Too much? Thank you in advance.

Do you still have to call Crean, Krispy?

yes, until next Feb 19th or something. Pretty sure I've posted the C-word but Lars never called me out on it.

Nice to see that when people think of Arkansas they think of chicken processing plants and accused murderers.

Seriously though - and Old School back me up on this if he shows his face in this thread - Arkansas is a beautiful state. If you enjoy being outdoors it is a wonderful place to live.
I can vouch for this. I've spent countless hours hiking, floating, camping, and exploring the Arkansas wilderness, and it is effing spectacular.

Speaking of floating, was wanting to get up to the Buffalo this spring...

Actually Jaz, I can't promise I'd use it, but I'd be very curious to see what you can do with either an IU/Florida State theme or IU/Manchester United theme. You don't have to do them if you don't want.
Oh yeah Tim I forget you are a FSU fan.

Friendly internet wager for the bowl game?
What do you have in mind?
I don't know. I would have to give it some thought. I'm open to suggestions though.
Nothing comes to mind at the moment except changing our sigs to the others preference.

Hey Jaz,

Could I get one with IU and Arizona State? Considering Howard is probably going to be traded.

When I think of Arkansas I think of Tyson chicken processing plants...

I think of the West Memphis Three, who just got out of prison recently. Read a ton of books on the subject.
I read an article in Rolling Stone I believe about the W Memphis 3...they were acquitted recently weren't they?

I've also spent some quality time in Arkansas/Missouri/Ozarks. Being from IL I've spent a lot of time canoeing on the rivers in Missouri, and the Buffalo River in AR...lots of great rocks to hunt on that river! I've been backpacking along the buffalo and caving in the area. I love living in NC and canoe/kayak here, lived in WY and MT a few years and rafted a lot...the rivers in MO and AR are beautiful and my favorite for canoeing. Crystal clear water, sand bars around every turn, great rock hunting, great fishing...I miss it...fortunately my wife is from Alton, IL right across the river from STL, so I still get opportunities to take advantage of the area.

They were given a deal: If they wouldn't sue for the absolute joke of the trial they received, Arkansas would let them go.

If you're not familiar with this crime, check this out: Google or YouTube Paradise Lost 1 and Paradise Lost 2. Quite intriguing.

I'm not saying they did or didn't do it, but the trial was a complete injustice to mankind.

I've stumbled upon some GREAT caves in the Ozarks. Nothing better than crawling into a 2'x3' hole in the ground and seeing where it takes you! And Hog, let's try to set something up. I'm always down for a float.
