Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Still no news on ITH about Sheehey being injured.

I did listen to TC"s press conference and he said that UMBC is a good offensive rebounding team that has a goto guy for scoring, which TC referred to as #15. I thought that was freaking hilarious that he referred to their goto guy as #15.

lol since when does scout have journalistic integrity. that site leads the world in incorrect recruiting rumors.
Of course wasn't it Pickett on this site that started the whole Watford transferring rumor? LOL.
TECHNICALLY, it was Badger. I just posted it on twitter, and shit hit the fan.

I heard Watford rolled on Sheehey's ankle so hard that Hummel tore his ACL. Watford then transferred to UAB, but the St.Joseph's coach wouldn't give him his release. In response, Ohio State football players sold their gift packages from the Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl for tats commemorating the occasion. #iubb

and then Kelsey Barlow threw a ball rack at everyone and gave them concussions.

Except Lewis Jackson, who was in Illinois getting his bong on, and Tom Pritchard, who fouled the ball rack.

Haha, the "Kelsey Barlow being drunk at practice and hitting Ryne Smith over the head with a ball rack" rumor has to be the funniest rumor ever.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Coach Painter: "Kelsey, have a seat. You know, I can stand for you being drunk at practice and I can stand for you hitting Ryno over the head with a ball rack. I think all of us have, at one time or another, hit Ryne over the head with a ball rack. But I have to draw the line when you COMBINE the two...that's just overkill."

ESPN is reporting it...I suppose it is legit now. they are saying "lower leg" and listing it as day to day. Nothing to worry about IMO.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I'm not real up-to-date on this story yet, but if tests are still being done, then I would think that's how they would list him (day-to-day). Hopefully that's the case, but I'm not going to get my hopes up until we hear the actual injury diagnosis.

That ESPN story is pretty much just directly from the IU press release. I would guess he will not play tonight, and would be questionable at best for MSU. Should know more tonight after the game.

I hate to speculate on anything, but seriously...with a lower leg injury, what is the worst case scenario? A broken ankle is actually better than a severe sprain, either of which will have him back on the court in 2-4 weeks I would think.

4 weeks is a realllllllyyyyyyyyy long time this point in the year. We don't have any outside depth; this could severely hurt our BT (decent finish, not winning it) and NCAA chances.

Also, I'm no doctor, and I've never broke my ankle, but I hope it isn't a high ankle sprain. There isn't any comparison between that and a normal ankle sprain.

torn tendons/ligaments in your foot and ankle linger forever too. broken ankles are a one time deal. well, mostly.
