Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Here's a quote from an article I read....

"My feeling is I bet you could go to 90% of any sporting event that has contact like basketball, football, whatever. You could probably go through any person's game film and pull these same or similar incidents out. This just happened to be a person did that and posted it online" said Steve Frucci, athletic director of the North Franklin School District.

What in idiot.
Yeah my wife's nephew plays high school b-ball. I have watched a ton of his games over the last 3 years, plus other teams play in tournaments and the state playoffs.
I have never seen anything like that. I mean I have seen hard fouls, and flagrant fouls. Nothing where is was over and over again in the same game, with several by the same player.

My purpose on the junior high team was to hack the shit out of the other team, but legally. Nothing... like this. Although, my dad had told me before to could a kid really hard in youth league to take out the teams best player. I was like "No. Dad, shut up." LOL

I did receive a technical for saying "FUCK!" when I missed a wide open layup one time haha. Whoops :X

I agree with boat. Total neglect of how the game should be played.

Yeah, I put most of the blame on the coaches and referees. You have got to control the kids.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I'd put most on his coach. He's the only one that can truly have an effect on how the kid plays long term.

That's the kind of coaching that ended John Chaney's career. It would be nice to see the same thing happen to this coach (without the broken arm of course)

The shameful thing: This video was posted on ksr, and a good chunk of people posted how anyone fainting fatty was a pussy. Sometimes I have to be reminded why I love UK but sometimes hate to say it
