Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Is it just me, should they be happy -- freakin joyful to get the Patriots offensive coordinator to be the head coach, or bring in state police to make sure he's ok? Dealing with the aftermath of all that, personally I think that they're lucky to get such a coach, I just don't get the armada of cops having to escort him in.

I don't think it's a good hire. Sounds like Charlie Weis, v2.0

Ideally, they would have shut the program down for years.

Well, i suppose that's fair to the players and fans. Should have shut down Louisville ball cuz their coach "screwed" up. Or OSU, or USC, or any program that had one person that messed up. Really man, the point was that the program goes on, and i think that PSU made a great decision to head in the right way

Screwing up is one thing, but molesting children and having others cover it up are quite another.

No matter who they hire as head coach, Penn State football's future is nothing less than the dark abyss. And probably for many years to come. Certainly not the fans or player's faults, but for the people that "run" the school, it's more than well deserved.

I don't watch college football, don't even like it, but if a program and it's "brass" deserve to be in the dungeon for awhile, it's certainly Penn State.

I guess the last time I paid attention, they were relevant.

by watching sports center you'd think they were. the big ten needs to cut them out. their basketball team and fans would embarrass the MAC and their football team (the only thing they're good for) is in total free fall.

I don't know. I don't care about or pay attention toPenn State football. I would think someone from the college ranks or ties to the university would be better at this time though. I don't think any coach would be successful there right now.
