Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

It's almost game time already, so why not?

Also, I searched for tickets just for fun and there don't appear to be any left. Either PSU stops offering their tickets x amount of time before the game or they sold out (!!!!!WTF!!!!!). So it could be a packed house tomorrow? I highly doubt that though..

If it's a sell out, I'd expect to see a lot of red in the audience.

So it appears to be a perfect storm for PSU hoops:

1) IU is good this season and NY alumni probably bought tickets
2) Their new head football coach is being introduced tomorrow at the game
3) There is a deal going on where you get 4 tickets, 4 subway 6-inch subs, and 4 drinks for $40. I think 4 6-inch subs cost you at least $16 (not to mention drinks). That deal is so good that if you were interested in a family lunch at Subway you might as well go to the arena for lunch and catch a game of basketball too.
4) They have a big name halftime show.

But I'm hoping #1 factors in most of all..

Come and join in song together, shout with might and main. Our beloved Alma Mater, sound her praise again. Gloriana Frangipana, E'er to her be true. She's the pride of Indiana, Hail to Old IU!

Quick change. It is pretty cool, but also a silly reason to buy a ticket to a basketball game..

BTW, through Saturday afternoon games, IU's RPI had moved up to #8 and our SOS was at #54...huge jump since our first three games in the Big Ten were against stiff competition.

Need to come out strong against Penn State and take nothing for granted. So far our guys have done a good job of that.

Indiana should win by double digits
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Brum, just my inclination, but I think that 9:30 PST is probably AM, meaning those numbers are really only updated through Friday's games. We should get a slight boost in SOS from that ND win yesterday. We'll see though.
