Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

We'll probably top out at #6. Staying steady at home and pulling off a couple of more road wins might lands us a good seed in the post season.

Games I'm worried about:

OSU state on the road (obviously)
Purdue on the road
Michigan on the road
Illini will be tough at home
Minnesota on the road
Iowa on the road

IMO, Purude will be beatable on the road, along with Iowa and Minnesota. If we continue our success at home (which I believe we'll lose one, maybe two, I still think our resume will be strong enough to get a decent spot in the tourney.

I'm confident we can achieve most of our expectations.

Road games will be tough obviously, but I think at most, we lose 2 games at home. AT MOST. I wouldn't be surprised if we ran the table at home. Also wouldn't be surprised if we lost 2.

Something I've noticed that is kinda irrelevant but interesting, but has anybody noticed that we have been the victims of some monster dunks so far in conference play? I can think of at least one per game, including today. Just a fun factoid.

so little room for error. this team has done magnificently well to be where they're at...but the head has to think a certain leveling of the 'score' is in store at some point. top 30 team for sure. odds are likely somewhere 16-22...

defend the home turf, any road win is a bonus.

23 wins would be amazing, 20 wins average, BTT success and an NCAA bid would be extra credit.

i'm just along for the ride, and it should be a fun one.

Our lane "fillage" is left to be desired. Cody is a master of playing the right way, not to get into foul trouble, We're just missing a big body to fill the lane and take the body shots from whomever penetrates for easy buckets.

Obviously, and thank God Zeller's solid D is off the map, he is basically all we have to stop the lane pressure.

With Watford's offensive game dangerous from all over the floor, getting him into the lane and sponging fouls would be just stupid.

Elston needs to toughen up. Dig in on defense, and make them fuckers think about twice about driving for the easy layup.

I'm waiting, and have been for a couple of years now.

I completely agree with all of this.

Our defense was bad for the Hardaway Jr and whoever dunked it today for PSU in the first half. Wasn't much we could do against the Brandon Wood ( was it him?) and Thompson for OSU's dunks.

Don't be surprised if we get our asses kicked at Ohio State. Personally, I just want to see us play hard because I am not expecting a win. I remember Purdue beating OSU at home last season and then taking a beating in Columbus.

I think we go 8-1 at home, 3-6 on the road. One home loss from either Mich St or Purdue, road wins: at PSU already, at Nebraska, at Minny.

At this point, I'll be very disappointed with 11-7.

Not I. 12-20, 3-15 to 24-7, 11-7 sounds pretty ok to me.

If we beat OSU at OSU for the 2nd time this season, we are the real fucking deal.

We can still be the real deal without winning that game.

I know that much.

I'm just saying... I could see the boys wanting to show the world they aren't playing. Will might be coming off the bench by then. I know Victor will be "up" for the game. Christian as always. Zeller needs to get Sully in foul trouble early then we can pick them apart.

I see what you're saying, but at this point, I don't really care about the last 3 seasons.

We're 15-1 and 3-1 in conference (including 3 of our toughest games being played already). I don't expect to lose 6 more conference games. I think 13-5 would be closer to where I expect to finish.
