This game is terrible and I don't want to keep hearing about the great defenses. Dropped balls, missed field goals, missed blocking assignments, etc. Things that have nothing to do with defense. BCSucks. |

Wait, seriously? Have you been watching the LSU 'offense'? |

Les Miles doesn't go for it on 4th and 3 on the last drive, but 4th and 18? Yeah, that sounds like a fantastic idea. #AmInuts? #I'mNuts

did lsu's coaching staff even attempt to prepare for this game? incredibly poor performance. bama's not been much better, but they've at least thrown a few wrinkles in... |

Hoosier Daddy?!

I've seen national championships that ended in a blowout, but this may be the most boring championship game I've ever seen. |

well, hindsight being 20/20, would have loved to have seen either wisky or oregon in this game instead of lsu. |

And now down 21 with the championship on the line, Les Miles punts the ball on 4th and 9. He just laid down. Unbelievable. |

and why not change QBs at some point in the 2nd half...look to go downfield more instead of the ridiculous quarterback sweeps for negligible yards that have been thoroughly scouted... |

I have. I also know that LSU is a top 15 scoring offense on the season - and that is factoring in the first Bama game. They are also #7 on Football outsiders Offensive S+P ratings - which is basically their adjusted total offense ranking. They aren't a Houston or an Oregon - that isn't how they play, but they are a good to very good offense. Against Oklahoma State they would have scored plenty. |

That was probably Les Miles biggest mistake. Jefferson is a better athlete, but Jarret Lee is the better passer. They could have at least opened it up more. |

Uhh wisconsin had 2 losses and got beat by Oregon in the bowl game. They had no business in this game. Oregon....would have been more entertaining but they had already got their asses handed to them once by LSU. |

And for everyone talking about how boring the game was - Bama put up 384 yds of offense. That is only about 25-30 less than OSU put on Stanford. They might have not put the ball in the endzone a lot, but they moved the ball fairly consistently all night. It wasn't the best game ever, but it was far from the ugliest. And really, how can you not appreciate the complete dominance of the Alabama defense? |
