Alabama lost to LSU on their home field. Why did they deserve another shot? If I was a voter, I'd go with Oregon or OSU. F the SEC |

Apparently all of the conference commissioners will be getting together with the BCS officials to talk about making changes. "The meeting will bring together the 11 conference commissioners and Notre Dame's athletic director to exchange ideas" This quote came from the following article on ESPN: http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7442352/bowl-championship-series-officials-discuss-possible-format-changes |

Yeah they have actually been discussing the meeting for a couple months. Apparently it has been on the agenda for awhile. I am not a big fan of the BCS, but I will give them credit for the fact that they are saying that as of now nothing is off the table. I mean nothing radical is going to come out of this, but maybe just maybe we can see a plus 1 format. Ideally I would like to see a 6-8 team playoff, but for now a plus 1 scenario would be more than satisfactory. This year would have been perfect for it. Put Oregon, OSU, Bama, and LSU in a 4 team playoff, and see who wins. They could have done the first of the games actually on New Years weekend, and the championship still last night. |

I agree and as far as money is concerned, they'd actually make money. I hear people say all the time that money would be lost but if you have four teams playing in a two round play off, thats a total of three games. Without the playoff, you have four teams playing only two games. Here's another question I have. Who says the football season has to end when it does? Why couldn't CFB season continue into the new year? Why is football not allowed to be played into February? Here is why I ask. You have the regular season that could end early December. Give them 3 weeks off of school and Christmas and then hit the playoffs. Realistically you could have a 16 team playoff that could start late December/early January and for four weeks have a playoff with the title game being played a week before the Super Bowl. Basketball has March Madness and football would have January Madness! The NCAA could work games around the NFL games and have four weeks of PACKED football... it would be the ultimate month for sports... outside of March Madness, that is :) |

Because they beat the supposed best team in the nation in the last game of the year. Do you really think OSU does what Alabama did with their schedule? I understand the argument but I don't understand how people can't see that Alabama has a right to be the National Champion especially considering the final game. In the end, the BCS in general is unfair. |

Sure Alabama has a right to be NC, but unfortunately for the fans it's not an exclusive right. OSU and LSU both have the same right IMO. |

LSU had probably the best season overall. Neutral site win over Oregon and road wins over Bama and WVU. Sucks they laid an egg last night. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel
