Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

BTW, aaron, how many times do you vote for the neo-con?
I'm not sure I understand the phrasing of the question, but if it was "how many times DID I vote for the Neo-con", and if you are referring to Bush and McCain, the answer is 3 times. It really sucks that in Indiana, my vote doesn't matter in the primary. I voted for Paul anyway in 2008, and will certainly do once again this year.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

IMO, it has no real effect on his ability to govern......the biggest mistake was Romney trying to use it as a selling point by saying he was a job creator there. There isn't going to be any way to determine the validity of the claim of the number of 'jobs he created'. A VC's job isn't to create jobs....in the line of the job, some jobs are 'created' and others lost. Wouldn't you agree that a good venture capitalist is one who creates the largest net return, not the one who 'creates the most jobs'?

Right, their goal is making money (what an evil thing to do). Bain gets the credit for funding Staples and Sports Authority, so overall, I expect the facts to show they created many jobs. Living in silicon valley for 10 years, I learned quite a bit about that business, and worked for a startup for a few years.
