Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Neat, but no mentioning of Christian Watford (aka Clutchford; top 10 in 3PT%)

"Cody Zeller, C, Indiana, freshman. His presence does so much to elevate IU at both ends that one could argue he’s the most valuable player in Division I."

wow. not saying the assessment is in any way flawed. but, that is some high praise for a freshman in early january.

Lamb, Davis, and Barnes on 3rd team? Dunno, Lamb is a beast, Davis is projected #1 pick, and Barnes should be second team. Just my say

Man, I'd hate for IU to run into a team with a beast and a projected #1 pick on their team.

We'd have a hard enoungh time with a beauty and a beast. (Although Davis is not a projected beauty)

While I think Zeller's presence has been THE difference-maker this season, I'm yet to see the 2nd team All-American performance on a consistent basis.

very true. but also a welcome sign that the "indiana" moniker is again beginning to pull a fair bit of weight by itself.

I with SirBri, I would like to see more consistency, especially in rebounding.

Same here. Christian is more deserved to be on this list IMO. Cody barely averages (somehow?) more ppg than Christian.

There isn't a stat for contested shots, as BOTH are great at closing out defenders and using their length. Christian is so amazing because he's 6'9" and versatile enough to guard 2-5, shoots 52-54% at 3Pt range, and is over 80% at the foul line. Christian is just more assertive. Which, as a junior, you like to see.

I dont like all this publicity for Zeller... think he's thinking draft? ugh... I wish we could keep him a secret until his senior year while getting his production.
