Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

i'm calling out the whole team minus maybe Cody Zeller (even though he missed like 500 defense rotations). they looked like they were sleep walking and a step slow the whole night.

this is a pretty bad loss, but i'm not losing sight of the fact that we weren't supposed to be good anyways. as usual people will be out in full force hating on us, but a reality check was probably in order. unfortunately i figured that reality check would come @OSU. buy one get one free?

Announcer points to the ground and tells Watford that he cannot move his feet. Would have been nice if the ref was aware of that rule earlier in the game.
I saw that...and then Watford moved his feet anyway...

I'm callin out Oladipo. I love him, but his defense has gone by the wayside these last 2 games. I can't even count how many times he's been burned.
Agreed 100%. He is a big reason for our bad defense in big ten play in my opinion except for before he was allowing good/decent players to get around him; tonight he allowed julian welch to get around him. julian welch is slow as hell, that is just weird for oladipo.

Bad night at home for BT teams in Indiana.

Looks like everyone is chasing Mich St. in the BT race now. Mainly because I don't see Illinois able to keep up and Michigan has a history of late season collapses.

I'm just being real and saying that IU wasn't a legit contender in the title race anyways. I think MSU and OSU will be at the head of the pack when the dust settles, and then you have Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, and Wisconsin chasing third. All of those teams can beat anyone on any given night, but in my opinion none are going to be the conference champion.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

IU tried to show up with full effort for the last 5 min of the game and expected to win. We aren't talented enough not to bring full effort the entire game against everybody we play.

I am questioning some of Tom Crean's personnel moves in this game. Also stayed in the zone too long.
Agree, but to me it came down to lack of desire.

Just seemed like other than Zeller, no one seemed to give a shit until the last few minutes.

Sheehey played pretty well, IMO. Jones and Watford were horrible.

yep...Watford looked out of sync, and Jones just really shouldn't drive to the hoop...he doesn't finish well or pass in traffic well. I much prefer him pulling up for the mid range jumper, even if he has to slightly fade away..he is good from that range.

Watford really had a bad game tonight, seemed to be in slow motion. Hope his injury isn't more severe than they thought.
It wasn't his injury, he played like that the whole damn game. Force shots, dribbled into crowds, couldn't hang onto the ball, etc. You name anything good and Watford didn't do it

Here is who played well: Zeller, Sheehey.

Here is who played OK: VO and only because of his steals, Remy because he is only a freshman, and Creek because he wasn't involved in this.

Here is who sucked: The rest of the team but the ones who didn't play.

Watford completely laid an egg, Hulls didn't decide he wanted to play until the last few minutes, and VJ doesn't seem to know his role on the team. He flat out sucks and I can't figure out why he even plays. Forces off balance fade away shots, passes into crowds and just flat out dont have any court recognition or awareness. Say what you want about your golden boy, but he sucks and will always suck in my eyes.

Now Evil will suddenly appear soon.

7 of those from Travis Carroll.

Terrible shooting night and poor defense will negate those two positives pretty quickly.
