Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

LOL @ the highest-pitch gif. The whole sequence of the catcher tapping the dirt to the home run. hilarious.

Jeff Sullivan gets me every time.

Big time. I don't expect the Mariners to get out of the cellar, but we get to see some young talent develop. Looking forward to what our new slugger can do.

Not feeling so hot about my Redbirds lol. Especially since I just read an article on Yadier and he's only sounding about 50% committed right now.

I am not hot about your Redbirds either. The Reds should be the favorite to win the division. That means I am pretty excited.

The Cards win the World Series, Have budding stars like Freese and Craig, have veteran leadership in Carp - Holliday - Berkman, replace Pujols with Beltran (no Pujols but still a very nice player to insert into the lineup, AND get Wainright back.......why would the Reds be favored to win the division? Just curious.

The Cards won the series...but not the division. Milwaukee won 96 games and while they lost Fielder (which is not as big of a loss as Pujols), they replaced a guy at third (Casey McGehee) who hit .223/.280/.346 with a guy (Aramis Ramirez) who hit .306/.361/.510.

Milwaukee, IMO, is the favorite.

And you still are talking about a team that was 6 games back and lost the best player in baseball.

...but added Beltran. I see the Brewers and the Cards pretty even. Considering both lost their stars, the Cards have more added value coming back with Wainright....but the original conversation was started in reference to the Reds being the favorite....which I can't see.
