Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

...WOW...big waves on the manning front...looks like Bud Adams and the Titans are making a MAJOR push...

...a week ago i thought manning to the Dolphins was a given...now i wouldn't be surprised if manning ends up with the Titans and Hasselbeck ends up with the Dolphins...crazy...
Do you think Manning and Chris johnson can co-exist?
CJ is an excellent pass catching back. He will feast off if Manning.

Hahahaha. Fucking Redskins. I winder if they'll even be able to afford to sign RGIII now that they have the pick!

...why not?...manning has even been quoted as saying that he wants to go to a "balanced offense"...

...how am I changing my tune???...I'm simply showing what's going on...just like your ignorant ass to exxagerate and try to start some shit...try to pay attention for a fucking change...if it were up to me, the Titans would continue on with their plan to groom Locker...first and foremost, I'm a Titans fan, plain and simple...

I can understand not liking the Colts (a division rival) but also wanting the #1 free agent in the country. That's a no-brainer. Not necessary to give him shit.

...never said I was or wasn't pissed either...again, try to pay attention...

...I would rather the Titans stay course with Hasselneck and Locker and ramp up the D by signing Mario Williams and through the draft...

...I didn't stop rooting for IU when they fired Knight...I didn't stop rooting for the Yankees when the signed Boggs, Clemens, or Damon...and i won't stop rooting for the Titans if (a BIG IF) they sign manning...

...it's sports...and since Manning's name is gospel down here I always knew there was a very good possibility that he would someday end up with the Titans organization in some capacity...you could say that I have somewhat prepared myself...

I wouldn't say the Titans will have "a major push" anymore than the Dolphins will. Reports are neither is going to be given the opportunity to give a full push like Denver or Arizona was.

Honestly, I don't understand that from Manning's POV. My opinion is that the offensive tools that the Titans and Dolphins have are way ahead of what Denver and Arizona have. The Dolphins already have a true #1 receiver and maybe the penultimate receiving back in Reggie Bush; the Titans have the best back of any of the teams and as enemy says, he is an excellent receiving back. Arizona has Larry Fitzgerald but the rest of their receivers (including Beanie Wells) aren't very good and they don't have a line that protects their quarterbacks. Denver's receivers are horrible and Willis MacGahee is an absolutely horrible fit for a Manning offense.

I don't think I would call Denver's wide receivers horrible. They definitely lack a # 1 guy but they have cap room to bring a guy like that in which I'm sure they would for Peyton. I know it's been said that Reggie is likely to follow so I feel like that would make Denver's wide receiving corps pretty respectable.

Rumors have it the Broncos are in the lead.

They may still lack a true #1, but a corps of Demaryius Thomas, Wayne, and Decker would be pretty formidable. I can't remember his name, but apparently they have a decent pass-catching TE as well, but he wasn't able to do much with the scheme last year.

If Decker is healthy, Manning could get him some big, big numbers.

Still think Manning is going to want to play either indoors or somewhere warm though. Just a gut feeling so who knows.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I thought the same thing as well, but the mutual interest seems to be legit.

Manning should take into consideration Decker's girlfriend when making a decision
