Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

And my losing picks are officially in
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

How far you pick LBSU?

I ended up buying them last night, as well as the winner of the Iona/BYU game by myself, who I hope is Iona because they have several really good players, although they struggled a bit. I bought partial pieces of Memphis, Cincinnati, and NC State as well as Virginia (dirt-cheap price). All the 4 seeds and above were in the $500 dollar range and the #1s went for about $2000 apiece, so I didn't touch those.

If one of my teams makes a run it would be sweet, but I didn't put enough in overall to care if they lose early, which is expected. One thing I do like is that they even pay money for teams that win 1 game, so on several of those, I can turn a profit without a deep run.

They are my wild card, got them in the Elite 8. Kind of risky because they could very easily lose in the first round, but I've been on theirs and Wichita St's bandwagon most of the year so I've stuck with them.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Can't argue with either of those picks. I'm looking forward to the Witchita St and VCU game in the first round. I think that could be an exciting one.

I think Wichita St should be okay against VCU. A possible WSU/Indiana matchup would be wonderful. I think teams are very similar in size and matchups.

If you want in on the bracket challenge, search back on the first page of this thread and follow the link instructions. The email invites aren't working for some reason.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.
