Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think we'll be a 4 playing in Portland, which is where Joe Lunardi has us right now. Looking at his bracket right now, I would be happy with our placement. We would play NM st. followed by the winner of Vandy and BYU. He also has us in Syracuse's bracket, which is the 1 seed I could see us beating if we make it that far. Hopefully the Selection Committee will be kind to the Hoosiers.

I think we had a 4 locked regardless of what happened yesterday.

Georgetown in the bracket was a 3 playing in Nashville. It would be REALLY sweet to grab that from them.

I disagree. If we won yesterday I think we were a lock for a 3.

Now we should be a 4. Could be a 3 depending on if the committee really likes the fact we have 4 wins over RPI top 10. Could be a 5 depending on if the committee feels like losing a double-digit scorer for the duration of the tournament hurts us enough to dock us a seed.

Will be interesting to see. I think it definitely helped us that UK pulled out the win against Florida. I think the only potential seed thief remaining is probably FSU. If they can pull off a win vs. Duke, they might work their way past IU, and almost assuredly would with a win over UNC tomorrow as well.

As of now though, I'll say 4.

I just compared our resume to Georgetown, and we definitely have the higher quality of wins, but we also have the losses to bad teams that they don't have. It will be interesting to see if we can pass them up.

what double digit scorer did we lose for the duration of the tourney? because jones is only a 7.5ppg scorer.

I say 4 seed but have no idea what site we'll be heading to. I remember Louisville was a 6 seed one year and ended up in Lexington, so they had a shit load of fans there. Who knows? We could get lucky and end up in Nashville, Columbus, or Louisville. I already got tickets for Louisville so keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry didn't take the time to go look it up. Guess I'll just say I meant career, not season.

If IU ends up a 3, I hope Lamar makes it to a 14 so we can see a Knight vs. Crean matchup

I've had a feeling we'd be a 4 or 5 for a little while. Anything lower would be bullshit, and anything higher.. well, it would need to be justified lol. (But I'd be straight as hell with it! )

Why would we want to play against the worst senior group ever?

I like Lunardi's current bracket. Would be pleased if a 4 in a region with Syracuse, Duke and Michigan.
