| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! If we get a 5, I will be extremely pissed. Is the committee supposed to take injuries into consideration? If so, then I guess I could see it happening. |

I wouldn't be surprised if they look at injuries. I mean, let's say a team had three starters suspended indefinitely this week...I'm sure that'd drop their seeding significantly. br |

If it ends up being in Nashvegas, do you have a spare bedroom by chance? |

I'm a pretty good cook too! :P I figured I better ask first! I actually have a friend that lives in downtown Nashville that wants me to come down regardless of who's playing. That's my biggest motivation going forward of getting out of the tax business. Taxes and March Madness do not coincide whatsoever. |

Can't argue with that. I know I'm a country music geek, but Nashville is probably my favorite city in the country to visit....never had a bad time, and I've been there quite a few times. |

...yep, I planned to go to school here and head back to E'ville, but I fell in love with this place, talked my wife into coming down here - she fell in love too - and the rest is history... ...the only negative is all of the stupid ass sec fuckheads... |

Where did you go to school? My buddy really wants me to get an accounting job down there, and I'm on the fence. I know I love the town and it would be a ton of fun, but all my family, nieces, and nephews live in the Evansville areas, so I'm not sure if I want to move away from them. |

...i started out at Watkins (an art, design, and film school) but finished at Aquinas College (a little Catholic college)... ...moving away from family and friends was never too difficult for me...my family is all in Evansville and my wife's is all in Henderson and we are extremely close to them...the drive is only 2.5 hours (150 miles)...we never miss a family event -- either they come here or we go there...plus, the little buffer can be a nice excuse...if you truly love it here and your only concern is your proximity to family and friends then you should give it a shot because it's really manageable... ...again though...i can't put enough emphasis on how much it sucks to work in an office full of sec fuckwads, lol... |

You're probably right, and I'm sure you could use another IU guy in SEC country, haha. Another thing is my current employer works around my schedule very well, which allowed me to coach this year. I've enjoyed that more than I ever thought I would, and I'd hate to take a job where that wasn't possible. After tax season, though, I plan on researching some options. We may be neighbors someday! |

The guy picked last in gym class
|
We have our sixth man out and another guy whose ankle injury made him miss exactly three minutes of game time....if there was any kind of significant injury, he certainly wouldn't have returned to what ultimately isn't a game of any meaning. While the NCAA may look at injuries, there certainly isn't anything that should affect anything. |

Are you saying Verdell's injury won't affect anything or am I reading that wrong? |

We I said it 'shouldn't affect anything', I meant it shouldn't affect our seeding. |
