Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If he does have some mental problems, he should probably be on medication and certainly not at a club drinking alcohol.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I believe he is on medication.

Dreach, I would have every reason to dislike Brandon Marshall as a Dolphins fan....we didn't succeed with him and the now we give him away for next to nothing after another off the field incident. But I don't.....there most certainly are guys I would cool assholes, guys who get off on hurting others or putting others down....I don't see that as his MO. Part of BPD deals with the inabilty to properly process emotions, which if you've seen the guy interviewed, you can tell.

He spent three months in the offseason before 2011 getting psychological and neurological exams in Boston.

I suggest these couple of articles on him.

The easy route is to dismiss him. I know I've done that with certain people in the spotlight whom I didn't know anything about. He's made mistakes -- a lot -- and he'll probably make many more along the way. I can really sympathize with his position and know that unfortunately in the end that most fans are going to only care about him while he's on the field.

I don't want to completely dismiss him, but I'm also skeptical simply due to the over-diagnosis, over-medication of people in America. I have no doubt that he has trouble dealing with emotions, I'm just not sure I buy the fact that this is now a mental disorder. Admittedly, of course, I'm not an expert to properly judge what a true mental disorder is and what isn't. I'm just guarded when it comes to this sort of thing.
