| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! OHB & Hoosier Nation, Let's put what tomorrow represents in perspective. We've been a lucky fanbase overall. We've seen glory more than nearly all programs in the country. We've come to expect greatness. We've overcome a lot of adversity and all have memories that people outside of the Hoosier Nation will never understand. I don't want to harp on what's happened over the last 10 years but I can't submit this game thread without mentioning it. This has been a difficult decade. 10 years ago we sent a dominant Duke home crying and went on to make it to the championship game 3 rounds later. It was a moment we won't forget for the rest of our lives. Then... ...the unspeakable happened. Contract extensions, poor AD decisions, hiring a cheater, sanctions...I hate making this list. It's so easy yet so difficult. Tomorrow (today for the east coast people who are 3 hours ahead of me at the time of this posting) represents a new birth for IU. We entered this season expecting very little. Go back and read the expectations thread. It's amazing to think of what has happened over the last 6 months. We went from a fringe NIT-berth team to a top 16 team in the country. We've been given nothing and proved that we can hold our own. We're a team that ranks 186th in the country in experience yet here we are, a four seed, about to play in the game's biggest stage. Regardless of the outcome, tomorrow is going to be a day I remember for the rest of my life. Even if we lay an egg, we must remember everything that has happened up to this point and cherish the fact that we have a lot to look forward to and even more to reflect upon. Playing in this tournament is huge. It's bigger than any time I can remember or read about. We are BACK. Let's enjoy every minute of tomorrow. Take the day off...call in sick...invite all the friends over for a BBQ...do whatever it takes to make the day awesome. We deserve tomorrow. Let's do this thing! GO IU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! br |

I just read this; very nice! Ordering a pizza, grabbing some beers, and heading over to my buddy's house as soon as work is over. Regardless of the outcome, it's going to be a memorable night for Hoosier Nation. |

Here is how pumped for this game I am....Me and the family are leaving Friday to head up to So. Indiana to visit family over the start of spring break. Last night the Mrs was hinting around that she had "plans" for tomorrow night (meaning thurs. night) -you know since we would be staying at my moms while visiting - i told her she needed to move her "plans" up or they were gonna have to be rescheduled for when we get back in the middle of next week because i planned on watching the IU game live. |

If I did I would. I am actually gonna try to find a decent place in E-ville while I am in town to see if i can find some good regional stuff that i can't find here. |

That's cool, hog. I know nothing about beers, but I like trying new ones, so if you find something you like, tell me what it is and where you got it so I can try it out! |

Sounds like you'd be pumped either way............. Also sounds like a great argument for a TV on the ceiling. |

I believe I am gonna go with the Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout that i liked so much a couple weeks ago, unless I find something else interesting when I make my beer run here shortly. |
