Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

This is the real test. Definitely not an easy win...as no win will be the rest of the way out. I have a lot of respect for VCU. This is going to be a dog fight.

going to come down to turnovers. hulls, VO, remy and will need to step up. if there was a game where VJIII would without doubt be a major factor...it is this one

I honestly have no idea what to expect in this game. Glad it's VCU though cuz I thought Wichita State would have beaten us. I can see us blowing VCU out and I can see VCU tearing us apart with their pressure. I literally wouldn't be surprised by any result in this game.

I hope Hulls watched film of Coverdale bringing the ball up the court. Coverdale was never, ever bothered with pressure He simply dribbbled down the court at an angle and then would switch directions with a behind ythe back dribble. Incredibly simple and effective. I'm always surprised when I don't see more PGs do it.

I'm the same way. If we can handle their pressure, it should be a fairly easy win. However, I could see us getting majorly rattled. Not real sure what to expect.

There will definitely be times within the game where VCU's pressure bothers IU. However, in the end, I feel we handle business.

Go Hoosiers!

i think if we can keep our turnovers under 10-12 for the game we will win by double digits. 12-15 could go either way. anymore than 15 i think VCU wins

The thing that scares me more than the TOs in their 3 point shooting. They hoist up a ton, and although they don't shoot well, we've had some horrifically terrible nights guarding the 3 (see Wisconsin). If we can keep them from having a Rob Wilsonesque night, I think we'll be fine even with a few more TOs than we'd like.
