Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

True or False:

1) Watford played the best game of his career against VCU?

2) VO learned the value of concentration when finishing at the rim towards the end of the game against VCU?

3) Hulls needs to work very hard at handling intense frontcourt pressure if IU is going to advance much further?

4) More of IU's offense should run through Sheehey?

5) Indiana will beat Kentucky

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

EDIT: I should explain my answers
False - Went for 26-10 at Michigan State. That was the game Zeller did nothing. Would have been a blowout without him.
False - Everything ended up roses, so no. I think he'll learn that value when his carelessness with the ball finally bites him in the ass.
False - I'm not sure we'll face much more press defense and even if we do, the team doing it won't be nearly as good at it as VCU is.
False - None of the offense runs through Sheehey. He gets his points by making fantastic cuts down the lane and knocking down his open jumpers. His roll is perfect right now and forcing more things through him just takes more of a focus away from what we need to be doing, which is going through Zeller.
refrain - I don't make predictions on IU games.

1. False.
2. False.
3. Not true or false....he's going to have to get better at it, but it's something that just can be fixed through a few days of hard work.
4. False. Dreach covered this, IMO.
5. Odds are against it, but we've done it before. And unlike cam's opinion, we most definitely outplayed them last time around.

I see your point on the Watford question.....I just saw a different side of him yesterday that maybe wasn't as impressive as MSU in the stat column, but his determination and ability to take over at times and bring us back at critical moments was as great as I have ever seen from him (or maybe from anyone on the team this season)

Yeah, but half of his points came in about a minute span. Outside of that span, he was limited to eight points and 3 of 8 shooting.

And I do think we've seen that kind of fire from him before. Remember the rebounds he was grabbing at home against MSU? He was a monster in the game.

certainly came at the absolute most critical junction for IU this season...which is why I rate his performance so high I guess....we would be discussing next season right now if he didn't show up like he did on Saturday.

Absolutely. Nice to see him back to form. He took kind of a layoff there, but he's been money again since the Minnesota game.
