Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

He deserves some love for the quality minutes he has played so far in the tournament. He knew he was going to get some minutes when VJ went down, and he has played great when called upon.

His defense and ability to drive to the rim have been very impressive. Also, his jumper when we were down, I think it was 9 points against VCU was absolutely huge. That got us back in a flow and started our rally.

I don't know what his playing time will be in the future, but if he keeps developing, he could be a very valuable asset to our team.

That emoticon is awesome!

I'm in the same boat as you, Dreach, as I echoed those same sentiments. I questioned the signing when it happened as well, but I have to give the young man props; he's doing pretty well for the most part (sans that TO in the first half which was about as ugly as it gets).

I'll say this much about remy, panchen said it already, this kid has no fear when he's in the game...that's good and bad for a freshman, but at least he doesn't play scared. I wish he would get his teammates involved more when he's in, there's still time for that!

Remy has really shown me something this year. Not a highly touted player coming into the program. But the kid is fearless and has game to boot. He's made some big plays for us this tournament when we needed a basket. He's really improved his ball handling skills, jumper, and penetrating drives. His passing is still a little suspect but he's giving it his all and thats all you can ask of a freshman. When we signed him I had a good feeling about his game from the way he looked in his highlights. I think he will improve a lot in the offseason and have a decent amount of playing time next season, along with the 15 other kids trying to get a spot in the rotation.
