Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I was watching a show that was doing a breakdown on all the sweet 16 games. Most of them were fair, when it came to the IU game most of them said we had absolutely no shot, and we would be blown out by 30. One put it that we had to move assembly hall to have chance. Also saying the only reason we were in the last game against UK, we played a flawless game, and then pointed out our 18 turnovers.

If Indiana plays well, I think the game will be close, and then anything can happen. There is actually a lot of pressure on UK to avenge the earlier loss, and the fact that the "experts" aren't giving IU much of a chance is a positive, IMO.

Well said Lars.

Also, after watching the last two games I'm convinced that it's impossible to want a game more than the IU guys want to win in this tournament. And to think Joe Lunardi called us a team that's "just happy to be here".
Death to Signatures.

I agree everytime an "expert" opens their mouth its bulletin board material and "ammo" for crean and staff to put in the ears of our team. I understand picking against us, but to say we have no shot b/c we played a perfect game with 18 turnovers is ridiculous.

Can't blame the experts on this one. It's tough to beat the same team twice, especially a team like UK. The one positive thing? This IU team knows exactly what kind of game and effort it takes to beat Kentucky. They'll either bring it and give themselves a chance or be unable to replicate how good they were the first time around.

Gonna have to try and get Jones or Davis in foul trouble early.

Either way, I love it when the media picks against us.

Lol. If Watford hit another game winner, I think he would surpass Laettner on UK's hate list.

The experts have amnesia....UK just got beat by Vandy a little over a week ago, and it wasn't due to foul trouble, or some fantom injury to Terrence Jones....they just got flat out played....and let me be clear....Indiana is a better team than Vanderbilt!

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Let the experts keep hating on IU. All it does is give our players more motivation to come out and prove them all wrong.

I'd LOVE for the "experts" and all media to pick against IU in every single game for the rest of eternity. I don't want their respect and will never ask for it.

In addition, our respect is hanging over the bleachers behind each basket. I'd like to keep it that way.

So if IU played a flawless game against Kentucky when we beat them.....

How come we committed the most turnovers we had all year until the VCU game?
Why did we shoot 43%?
Why did Kentucky shoot 56%?
If home court advantage was the cause, why did we commit three more fouls than them?
Why did they shoot as many free throws as we did?
Why did Daniel Moore play and not Derek Elston? That most definitely will not happen in this game.

...I was also going to mention the Vandy game...Dreach, I agree that it is hard to beat the same team twice...but Vandy was right in it with uk in three seperate games...and like Gray says, we are better than Vandy...definitely better coached than Vandy...and DEFINITELY have a shit ton more heart than Vandy does...

...look, there is no doubt the odds are against IU coming out of Friday night with a victory...but I will be damn fucking surprised if the cheatapari's walk into Atlanta and manhandle the Hoosiers in embarrassing fashion...
