Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think a few major gameplanning decisions will be who does Calipari put MKG on. In the first game, he put him on Hulls most of the game. This time around, I think he'll put him on Oladipo.

And the next one is how to keep Hulls on the floor. Lamb and Teague really took advantage of him off the dribble last game.
Lamb went 5-14 against IU last game. i am hoping he takes advantage of him again and goes 5-14
They switched Hulls off of him in the second half and onto Teague.
so you mean to tell me Hulls guarded Lamb the entire first half and Teague the entire second half?
I'm sure switches happened, I'm sure in transition and run outs different people were guarding each other, but most of the successes of Teague and Lamb came when Hulls was guarding them (really all of Teague's). If you watched that game and didn't pick up on that, then you need some help.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

i watched the game. actually still have it DVRd. Things didnt go as you say. But its all right. I mean we have a guy that can tell you who guarded who an entire game of 2 teams he doenst like.

But then again, this is the same guy who says UK wins 9 out of 10 times.

You are right. Jordan Hulls did an excellent job of containing the dribble. And he wasn't matched up on Lamb to start the game, and he wasn't matched up on Teague in the second half.

Please, tell me how it went. I need to be enlightened.

Please show me where i said Hulls did a great job of defending? All i said was Lamb went 5-14 and was a non factor. But you, as a Purdue fan, have the game memorized whereas as I, an IU fan, has no clue what happened.

You have your agenda here guy. I know it. Most know it. Now that Purdue has lost again in the tournament i am sure it will rear its evil head again

I'll be honest, I don't remember Hulls getting exploited much except for when Teague kept blowing by him towards the end of the game. Lamb was 4-9 in the first half with at least 1 of those coming from a breakaway dunk. So if he was 3-8 while matched up against Hulls, I'll take it.

Does anyone else want to start a candlelight vigil for Anthony Davis being in foul trouble the first game?

Fuck this. UK had 13 freaking fouls. The game was NOT called tightly....there were 29 fouls between the two teams.

I think Davis' eyebrow might have picked up at least one of those fouls.

I commented on that yesterday as well.

It would be sweet to see Cody use some of his awesome head-fakes around the basket to get Davis in foul trouble again.

Keep bringing the ammo! Didn't Crispin play for PSU? Lose credibility when you say IU has 'no chance' of beating Kentucky, when we've won already this year.....there has to be at least some chance. What an idoit!
