Below Cinncy? That's pretty bad. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Have to think my TWAR's rating is much better. Cincinnati, Louisville, and Florida better than IU? My were posted in another thread, but I can't help but say that mine were more accurate: 1. Michigan State 2. Kentucky 3. North Carolina 4. Ohio State 5. Syracuse 6. Kansas 7. Baylor 8. (tie) Indiana 8. (tie) Marquette 10. Florida 11. Wisconsin 12. Louisville 13. N.C. State 14. Xavier 15. Cincinnati 16. Ohio |

I saw those rankings earlier today and I don't see how they can rank Louisville, Cincinnati, and Florida over us. Louisville is close but I think heads up we beat all those teams on a neutral court. |

Wisconsin below Indiana? Not sure how you can justify that. I'd put Indiana/Marquette/Florida/Louisville as equal. |

I think cincy is very under rated... i wouldn't want to play them if I was OSU, I can't wait to see Sully get man handled by Gates in the post |

In head to head games, absolutely I wouldn't put IU above Wisconsin. In terms of overall strength, IU has a better record, and two wins against one seeds and one against a two seed. I believe Wisky has one victory against a one seed. Anyway, Sagarin has Wisky as the 7th best team in the nation and IU the 8th...even my TWAR basically has it as splitting hairs. If it went by groups, TWAR would put Michigan State, Kentucky, and North Caroilna on one tier; Ohio State and Kansas on the next; and then Baylor, Indiana, Marquette, Florida, and Wisconsin on the next. Basically I have all of those teams within a point and a half of each other. Louisville is not in that group, IMO. I have them three points behind Wisky, just slightly above NC State. Xavier and Cincy follow at about 3 and half points behind NC State, and then Ohio is well behind. |
