Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Wow. This is unbelievable to me. Just crazy. This might be the worst suspension outside of the NCAA death penalty I've ever seen.

I said in the other thread that I wouldn't be surprised if Peyton was fired, and I wouldn't be surprised if Williams has a hard time finding a job when all of the dust settled.

It's stiff (that's what she said), but the NFL cannot take a chance with shit like this. The potential impact of the lawsuits could doom the NFL if they didn't take a firm stance. Everybody and their brother would be trying to get their share from them.

Not surprised, but wow. Goodell didn't have a choice with how he's been pushing player's health lately. Still, wow.

If Peyton knew about and promoted the idea of his players intentionally hurting people, he deserves it. The NFL is a lot bigger than Peyton and a few head-hunting idiots.

I'm glad he got hammered, but he should probably lose his job.

I agree, but this was the first instance where they had players actually talking about it and evidence to prove it.

I think it is rough considering the fact that they are probably far from the only team doing this sort of thing, but with today's emphasis on player safety it is not unexpected and frankly the penalty SHOULD be stiff. I can understand wanting to hit hard and make someone hurt and want to quit mentally, but to encourage INJURING a player is just out of bounds to me.

PLUS, as I understand it, they were warned last year and did not heed the warning.....hammer dropped.
