Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

No prediction, but how about a game where BOTH teams come out rattled after feeling the pressure from the rematch? I wouldn't be surprised if we see a pretty ugly game tomorrow night.
I think both teams being rattled would tip the scales in our favor. I'd take another 6 points, 17 minutes from Davis. Another 4 points, 1 rebound from Jones, and another sub par first half from Marquis Teague. All the experts and 99% of UK fans narrowed it down to them simply not showing up, as if IU wasn't even on the floor. It's hard to rattle a player as smart as Zeller, so more than likely we'd have at least him on the floor.

It's not going to happen this time, but I think it may be our only shot at a miracle.

I wouldn't be surprised if the freshman nerves catch up to Zeller and he's completely rattled the entire game :D
As the season goes on its going to be tougher and tougher for Zeller to compete with more experienced big men..

It makes more sense to pick UK to win this game, but I honestly don't see it happening. This team has been playing with so much emotion and grit that I just can't see them losing. They have found ways to make clutch plays when they've needed them the whole season. I see Watford putting the team on his back just like he did at the end of the first half of the VCU and the end of the first UK game. These guys just refuse to lose, and I just can't pick against them.

This is a great thread, but pardon me if I don't predict. I don't want to jinx IU.

I'll go with TWAR: UK 77, IU 69.

Exactly my thoughts. Fuck em'!

Not going to predict this one but if UK is going to beat us they better come with there A game. I actually think IU is going to come out hot and stroke a couple threes early. Maybe get a couple easy buckets off turnovers. If Zeller can get Davis up in the air with one of his great pump fakes he needs to take it to his body to draw a foul. The more we get into there bench the better odds we have. Hopefully we have some decent officiating tomorrow!

IU beat Kentucky in the sweet 16 because __________.

IU beat Kentucky in the sweet 16 because Christian Watford played like a man possessed.

That speech always gives me goosebumps.

Don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to beat UK one more time and when it counts most and to send their obnoxious fans home crying. My heart believes they can do it. My brain thinks UK will be too pumped for this game, and we will fall short.

I don't care what the analysts think. This team deserves respect for all of their success this season instead of being predicted as a loser every fucking game this tournament. If IU somehow pulls out another miraculous win tomorrow night, then every analyst that doubted this team owes them an apology. Fuck all the doubters!!!

I hope they show a bit of creans pre-game speech tomorrow on the broadcast. I would love to hear what he has to say. I'm sure it will be something similar to that video. Only difference being we've beat them before. One of creans strong suits is that he is a master motivator. I'm sure he will use every bit of motivation tomorrow night. I can not wait for this one guys! Let's beat those assholes from Lexington again!

I agree. I think watford is the key for us in this game. I think watford more than anybody on our team feeds off himself, and be should be the most confident player on the floor tonight.
