IU 72- UK 67. IU playing with house money, all the pressure is on UK. I agree with comments that Watford is the key, but IU needs to make 7+ 3's to have a shot, and I think they'll do that as the second best three point shooting team in the country. IU has also made leaps and bounds defensively, and I think the team defense of Indiana will make up for one-on-one talent deficiencies for defensive match-ups. Nobody in the media seems to remember that we're the second best three point shooting team in the freaking country. Maybe we can remind them tonight.... |

Reminds me of how K turned the dogs loose at North Carolina. Not that Duke is the best 3 point shooting team in the country, but it was an obvious game plan to keep UNC back peddling. And for the most part, Duke was successful, and eventually won the game. I wonder, with the nation's 2nd best 3 point shooting team, if Crean has given it a thought about tonight's game. At least come out deliberately firing from all places on the floor and stretch their defense. If it works, well then, UK is gonna be sucking hind tit all night. If not, Crean is pretty decent at adjusting too. I'd say it's a start. |

Tonight's game plan should be SHOCK AND AWE. Blitz those bastards from behind the arc from tip off. And don't let up. Edited by Jazen, Mar 23 2012, 03:37 PM.

I think i read a transcript from creans press conference the other day and he said that we dont rely on the 3 and that we let the 3 ball come to us so i dont see us chucking up a bunch like wisconsin has towards the end of their season |

Amen. The games been on my mind alllll week, and I've been hella hyped today especially. The collective thought is either "UK blows them out like they're supposed to" or "IU wins a nailbiter" ..... We shall see. God works in mysterious ways.. But, Good always prevails over Evil, and UK's COCKY fanbase does not deserve to win. They've got 3 NBA players in their starting 5, with Gilchrist (stupidly) coming out to say he's going pro before they even play their game. Just the overall "care" factor is absent for them. "Win at all cost"... We've already been there. Now it's THEIR time to pay. We still owe UK plenty of ass whoopings.... it's silly to think they're the ones plotting again. Let's go Underdog! Let's let the nation fall in love with us one more time this season :) |

Because we IU had limited turnovers and Matt Roth scores 12 points. |

If Cody can up one on Davis and DEMAND the double team, it's time to launch on the kickout. We shouldn't even hesitate, MAKE those bastards stretch the floor on defense. |

![]() The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism. | |
