Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

mine is tomorrow late morning...I'm not getting the damn free pizza though...but I will be watching HOOPS!!! Here's to me being able to stand and pace during the game, because there's no way I'm going to be able to lay down during IU/mildcats...I will have plenty of beer and three bags of frozen peas to help numb the discomfort...bring it on!

Exactly 12 hours away. I wonder what a team does throughout the day on a day like this? Relax, have a walk through, watch some film?

One short day of work then it's game prep time. I think I'll hit the gym up right after work, go grab beer, get some food and be ready in time for pre-game. I'm going to be so unfocused at work today. Good thing I'm interviewing people for a new position...lol.

I've never been more calm. The only way it gets more "story book" is if we pull this out tonight.

From experience, the day of isn't do bad. There is discomfort but because of the numbing stuff and the pain killers it isn't too bad.
The next few days after that -when the numbing meds wear off and the swelling kicks in - is when it gets worse.

In all honesty, to me it would be. For one, I don't watch the Olympics, never have, and I can't stand hockey. I recognize what that game meant to this country, and it's a chilling call by Al Michaels, but I still don't care, this one would be etched in my mind forever, especially considering where we've come from in the last 10 years.

I'm pretty calm right now too. That will change about 30 minutes before I get off work. Then I'm sure I'll be on pins and needles during the drive to Evansville to watch the game.

The only way I'm going to be on pins and needles if this thing is close at the end. This is where the alcohol consumption will quadruple.

I have to drive home, so I will have to take it easy. In terms of getting up and working tomorrow, that will probably be a good thing. That, and I'll be jacked up enough without any alcohol. I don't want to act TOO foolish in public.
