Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

My nerves are shot waiting on this game, so I'm trying to pass some time here. But it just so happens I actually had to break down and buy reading glasses the other day. After a life time of 20/10 vision, I've not been able to see the small stuff (up close) for a few months now.

Still can't get used to them when trying to read.

I'm a 20/10'er myself Jazen, hate to hear that. Although, I will admit I can only read the second line from the bottom on the eye tests now, when I used to read the bottom. :P

Haha but really though, the smaller stuff at a long distance for me is starting to get a little iffy.

I wear contacts and glasses when I don't have them in. I'm sure I'm legally blind without them. I can no writing with my contacts out unless I close one eye and bring it close enough to my face to read it.....have to get inside the point where I could see it with both eyes.

My left eye needs contacts of -9.5....they do not produce them in standard issue beyond -10.

It's the strangest shit. Never thought it would happen to me. Hell, I can still read small print from 15 feet away. I put something up close to my face...poof..

It's all she wrote.

Got glasses at about 7, but wasn't born with this bad of eyesight. Progressively got worse until I was about 35. Good thing is that typically nearsightedness levels out. I've had the same prescription for about ten years.

Since we are just passing time, how about this. Earlier this evening was driving to little rock to get some new shoes/pass some time. Got a text from the wife saying "since i see the Victoria's secret ad on the back of the toilet I guess I dont need to ask what you did today"
Funny thing is I didn't put it in there. I got it out of the mailbox and put it -unopened- on the counter. So apparently my 8 year old son took it in there. 1zxgnc
