Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Whether or not it turns out to be true (I'm certainly not expecting it), I just got chills reading that statement thinking about the possibility. How cool would that be?!

Funny thing was I read a writer on ESPN saying that IU might 'start the year in the top ten' if Watford returns, and would be 15-18 if he didn't.

I think I keep my optimism in check pretty well, and I keep trying to come up with a reason that IU doesn't have the potential to be as good as anyone next year. If Watford doesn't return, I still can't see how next year's team isn't better than this year's. If Cody were decide to go into the draft, I still see this as being a pretty darn good team with a hole.

I've not wanted to say it to this point for the fact that I don't want to sound like a homer, which I'm not, and never have been.

But coming in @ #1 next year is exactly what I expect. To me, it's not really a surprise.

Same. Ive looked and looked trying to keep my ego in check, but unless UK's guys stay and Barnes stays and Zeller and Watford go pro, I don't see any team more impressive.

Should be a really fun offseason for once, I can't freaking wait until next season.

I know we're going to have some buzz about us but I really hope we get preseason ranked 10 or lower. It probably won't happen, but I don't like being given anything in the national media. I feel like we have players that thrive on playing with a chip on their shoulder. I want our freshman to learn quickly what it means to be disrespected.

Btown, it's gonna happen. If not the first couple of weeks, then soon after. Next year's IU team is going to be a ridiculous array of talent.

I can tell you this: The scariest IU team I've seen in my lifetime. We may lose a game or two, but it's going to be ugly for the competition. Our depth alone is flat out scary, not to even mention the talent.

Patience, gentlemen. Next year is our year.

What the fuck is the competition going to do with Vic? Sheehey? Zeller? Hulls? Cwat? The outstanding recruiting class we have coming in?

Fuck man, it scares ME.

I've not seen an IU team assembled like we'll see next year. Granted, I don't remember the 76 team, but this is some scary shit.

When I saw Sheehey dunk on Kentucky, and the way we hung with them, I knew right then. It's going to be insane.

Just trust me guys. Cody is coming back, even though some "people" don't want him to. But he'll be kicking the fuck out of them (and the rest of the B1G) for at least the next 2 years. Cwat is most likely staying too. Sheehey? Oladipo? Hulls? Elston? Throw in Jurkins, Perrea, Patterson, Ferrell and Holliwell?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

Nastiest shit I'll ever see, guarantee that.

I could care less what we're ranked at the beginning of the season...what matters is where we're ranked at the end of the season...
