Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I've not seen an IU team assembled like we'll see next year. Granted, I don't remember the 76 team, but this is some scary shit.

They're going to be scary good, but I don't know. I have to admit that I haven't seen any of the guys coming in next year in person or watched much video of them, but I'm going to have to see it on the court before I can say they're going to be better than our 92-93 team. You think we can go 17-1 in the B1G next year? If Alan Henderson doesn't hurt his knee we're looking up at 6 banners in Assembly Hall instead of 5.

I've seen plenty of video. It's fucking crazy ridiculous.

We are going to stomp some mud holes in the ass of the B1G.

Really.

Look at the bracket challenge, I might know a little bit of something. I'm an old fucker, and I've been watching for a long time.

I know domination when I see it.

I hope you're right Jaz. I'm just saying I'm going to have to see them play before I declare them the best Indiana team I've ever seen. 92-93 was my freshman year in Bloomington and I went to about 10 home games that year, and nobody had a chance against us when they came to our place.

Pet peeve: assuming that you win a title if someone hadn't been hurt is simply not true.

Should we take a title down if we won one but someone else had a major player hurt?

Next year's final four is in Atlanta, same place our season ended this year. I'm not sayin, but I'm just sayin..

our schedule next year is gonna be fun too:

UK
GTown
ND
Butler
Premiere ACC opponent at home
possibly Louisville?
also one of the regional sites in at Lucos Oil Stadium...hopefully iu will do well enough so they put us there...im gonna try and get tickets for it whenever they come out.

I think he was kidding....at least I hope so!

I'm not going to put expectations on anything for next year, regardless of our preseason ranking outside of I expect us to be really good regardless of what Watford does.

If we ended up 2nd in the B1G and made it to the elite 8, I don't want that to be a disappointing year because of inflated expectations.

I'm thinking top 5, and the ultimate goal of winning a championship. I heard Watford isn't on any draft boards and wouldn't get drafted if he jumped to the NBA. I don't see Zeller going pro before his 3rd year unless we win a NC. IU could possibly be the deepest team in college bball. I wouldn't play Creek major minutes just to make sure his knees are okay.

Patino has talked a little bit this year about possibly scheduling Indiana next year. I personally would love it! It would give me a chance to stick it to all my buddies that are UofL fans. It would be a good test for Zeller going up against Dieng who will be the best shot blocker in the country next year. We should have the upper hand in that game if scheduled.

Seriously.

I mean I am excited about next year too, but seriously people just relax a bit. Talk of Top 5 and championships and Final Fours is a little premature.
Sure they are possibilities not just pipe dreams, but lets settle down a bit.

they're talking about us being a top 5 team and making a final four run on BTN so I don't think we're all homers here there is some substance to it
