Henderson was awesome, but after the last half of this year, I'm beginning to believe that Watford has a bit more to bring to the table. Both were 6'9, both can play a good inside game, but CWAT is so versatile, and has proved it, inside and out. A 6'9 guy that can fucking drain from range. Never thought I'd say this, and I realize they don't exactly play the same position, but I'm taking Cwat. Would love to see him go pro (AFTER HIS SENIOR YEAR) and cash in. Wow, what an improved player. |

think CWAT needs to have a full year next year on the level of his last month and improve in such areas as quickness to even be in the nba draft talk for next year. i'm still going henderson on this one, and i'm not sure it's really that close, though the gap has definitely narrowed and i'd love to have CWAT anchoring the 3/4 spot next year for the hoosiers. |

Kind of hard to compare the two because, like you said, they don't really play the same position, but I'd still have to say Henderson as well. He was a much better rebounder and defender, and he was also better with his back to the basket than CWat. If you want a wing, take CWat...if you want a power forward, take Henderson. |

Henderson, not even close part deux...way more mentally tough the cwat ever will be, and never took a game off...henderson never went 0-17 in a two game span |

this!!!!! I'm kind of surprised that the comparison was even attempted....but we still love ya' Jaz. A few quick facts on this one: Henderson led the team in rebounding all four years. Henderson is the only player to rank in the our top five in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and steals Henderson was a 2-time Team MVP, (and he played alongside other Indiana greats Henderson was a 1st round NBA Draft pick Henderson had a 12 year NBA Career, and during a 4 year span in there he averaged double digit points and nearly 7rpg I love Watford, but he might not even be the 3rd best player on his team right now |

Two reasons: 1. I was half drunk 2. I guess Watford is clear in my mind at this point. Henderson was on a much more talented team, and I don't remember him taking over a game like Cwat has done at least in the 2nd half of this season, that usually fell in the lap of Cheaney. That said though, he was a fantastic player, and it was really stupid to make the comparison. See reason #1. B) |

I'm going with Henderson, but in the right system Watford may be a better choice if he can average 15pts and 8-10 boards a game. |

My dad owns (which of course I will inherit) an IU basketball bench chair (Red metal, white leather back and seat pads, red IU writing) with "Best wishes Jeff. Alan Henderson" smeared a bit on the back. Need to get the bottom support for the legs welded back on, because of course, like a dipshit, I sat in it a lot when I was younger. I also "ruined" his "Best wishes Jeff, Bob Knight" Rawlings basketball. The only ball I could find and wanted to shoot some hoops one day when I was like 9 or 10. Got an ass whoopin' for that one, that still to this day my mom is mad about, but I come to find it well warranted. LOL I wasn't alive to watch Alan play, but I'm going to go with the mental toughness thing. He was a Knight player, none of that bitchassness of "Taking a game off" came into play. If so, your ass rode the pine. How it should still be.... But anyways, I will say CWat has improved immensely on his rebounding and defense this season. |

Jaz -- Alan Henderson averaged 23.5 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game as a senior. I'd say he had his fair share of taking over games. |

 I believe that the year he hurt his knee, he was a pre-season All American, and Player of the Year Candidate also wasn't he? |
