| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! The guy picked last in gym class

Here would be mine: 1. Sand Creek in Chesterton. I only got to play this course because a team I coached played there. Incredible course that gets almost no play because it's the type that rich people pay a membership to play but they spent most of their time traveling. 2. Coyote Crossing in West Lafayette. Hale Irwin design, incredible how quickly it got in the shape it's in. It's one I've also played particularly well at despite it's difficulty. 3. The Player's Club in Yorktown/Muncie. 4. The Trophy Club in Lebanon (I believe, been a little while since I played it). The thing is, I truly hate this course because I do think there are spots on the course where you are ten feet off the green and because of the set up, you will have no realistic shot at keeping the shot on the green. It's kept up well and looks nice...just don't like playing it. 5. Prestwick in Indianapolis. Played there when one of my golfers went to the state tournament (he finished 17th in the state). 6. Swan Lake in Plymouth. 36 holes. Prefer the 'water course' but have played it less than the other course because the guy who usually called in for our tee times hated the water course so he would book us on the other. 7. Blackthorn in South Bend. Links style course, very tough. 8. The Brassie in Chesterton. Another links style course....prefer playing it to Blackthorn because I know the Brassie better. Probably not as nice as Blackthorn, but more playable. Courses on my 'to do' list are Bear Slide, The Fort and Rock Hollow. I have played Otter Creek and came away unimpressed. |
