Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think in the context of accusing someone of murder (dreach, you of all people on here have the worst track record of jumping to conclusions on the Zimmerman case), you should deal in facts. He wasn't told or ordered not to do anything. He was told that he didn't need to. Truth be told, the 911 operator might have felt that it would be helpful for GZ to follow TM, but obviously didn't want to come right out and say "please follow him" because they could get in a lot of trouble for that.
I can see this really isn't going to go anywhere. At least you seem to have given up the argument that the phrase didn't mean anything.

If you want believe that the 911 operator (who you said earlier would never recommend someone follow a perp) actually thought it was a good idea for GZ to follow TM and that maybe he indeed meant "thank you for pursuing that perp for us, George. You don't need to do that." Well, that's your prerogative. I find that possibility to be incredibly unlikely

so.....are you saying that we definitely shouldn't, or that you would prefer that we don't, or it would be a lot of help if we did, but we don't need to?

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I really think you don't need further explanation.

BTW, if someone tells you 'you can never put too much water in a nuclear reactor', is it okay to add more water?

If we want to mince words, Neighborhood Watch should mean just that - Neighborhood Watch, not Watching The Neighborhood With A Loaded Weapon.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, way to busy with work. Should slow down this weekend, gotta give it a try. Glad to hear it's decent, gonna be a long winter without the regular programs.

I've watched one a night this week. it's hard sometimes when the episode ends in a cliff hanger and you're one click of a button away from the next episodes. Led to some late bedtimes for me this week..

Tell me about it. I can't count the hours of sleep I lost during The Sopranos, Dexter, etc. I don't have the will power to quit.

Q: How did George Zimmerman know what time is a good time to listen to 911 operators?
A: He looked at his neighborhood watch and saw the two hands moving across the face.
