You left out the part about the 17 yr old also being a burglar.... From the article

“It’s completely irrelevant to what happened Feb. 26,” said attorney Benjamin Crump. “They never heard this, and don’t believe it’s true. If it were true, why wouldn’t they call the parents? Why wasn’t he arrested?” Trayvon, who was a junior at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, had never been arrested, police and the family have said. “We think everybody is trying to demonize him,” Crump said. No evidence ever surfaced that the jewelry was stolen. Remember how you jumped down my throat when this story first broke and said I was convicting Zimmerman without waiting for the evidence? Hmmm. Seems like there's some hypocrisy here.

was he charged with burglary? and to be honest, i'd rather live on the same block as a burglar than someone walking around "protecting the neighborhood" armed. br Well that is were you and I clearly disagree. You can have the pothead thieves and I'll take the legal gun carriers. You must really hate guns to put you family/children up against odds like that.

A young man walking around with a screwdriver and a bag of jewelry and questioning if he is a thief is different than your illegal guns question?

A young man walking around with a screwdriver and a bag of jewelry and questioning if he is a thief is different than your illegal guns question? You didn't question if he is a thief. That is totally a legitimate question. You called him a burglar.

Can you link to when Martin was convicted of a crime? I don't recall ever hearing that.
And I'm not ACCUSING Zimmerman. I asked the question. Because TO ME he seems crazy. He has money problems. He's acquiring weapons. He's recently divorce. His new girlfriend got him arrested. He got away with killing someone. Seriously, you can think the question is unfair. I get it. Because you don't view him the same way I do.
The reason you don't know about Martin's criminal history is that it was covered up pretty well by the media. Here you go. http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/police-buried-trayvons-criminal-history/- Quote:
-
He realized that Martin had been suspended twice already that school year for offenses that should have gotten him arrested – once for getting caught with a burglary tool and a dozen items of female jewelry, the second time for getting caught with marijuana and a marijuana pipe.
Still not making the connection....lot's of people can be considered "crazy"...we encounter them every day in our lives, and by watching the lives of celebrities or athletes. How does that, or money problems, or acquiring weapons, being recently divorced, or his girlfriend having him arrested lead to a theory that he may have stolen guns or he bought guns on the black market with scratched off serial numbers? None of your opinions of him above make a connection to your theory. Ok excuse me if I have a problem with information coming from a site whose front page headline reads "Does Obama want to infect you with....." talking about the conversation in Washington about lifting the ban on gay men donating blood. Also internet sources that make wild claims about the integrity of an entire police department and quotes multiple sources but then never links to those sources aside from linking to other articles written by the same guy.
I want to read the original article or papers that confirm the major accusations that he is claiming and honestly I have no idea were to begin finding reports that were "released" due to the freedom of information act.
Also can we please quit acting like TM got caught with ounces of weed like he was a dealer. A 17 year old kid got caught with an empty baggy and a pipe that shouldn't surprise anyone anywhere EVER.

Common sense tells me that, with what we do know, the odds of Trayvon having had previously committed a burglary are higher than the odds of a concealed carry permit holder owning illegal guns.

I think the chances of TM being high or looking to burglarize or both that fateful evening is greater than GZ owning an illegal firearm.
