Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Largent

Largent introduced a bill that would ban adoptions by gay and lesbian parents in Washington, D.C.

Like many in the Republican freshmen class elected in 1994, when the Republicans took control of the House for the first time in 40 years, Largent's voting record was solidly conservative. Largent was one of the "true believers" in that freshman class, devoting most of his time to issues important to the conservative Christians.

One of his first bills was a "parental rights" bill that died in committee after it attracted opposition even from other Christian conservatives. Another of his bills would have abolished the federal tax code at the end of 2001

I'll never forgot sitting in the left-center bleachers and how loud the crowd was right when he hit the ball and then how quiet it became in the snap of a finger, outside of the few Braves fans such as myself.

Ahh, you're speaking of his political career, which I could care less about.

he IS a lunatic. And that play shows why.

It's pretty clear on here that I don't care a thing about what players do off the field. I mean, probably less than anyone you know. I've taken a lot of shit for it on this board for years.

Might as well throw this in here. I'm in the outfield as Oakland (vs Texas), had a runner on third with one out. Timed the jump with the left fielder, which is extremely hard to do, and saved the run from scoring on the tag.

While I'm at it, another decent play, this one by second baseman Jemile Weeks. Great grab, and then Barton fucks it up and drops the ball.

haha, I'm not sure whether he (the AI) knew that Cespedes has a rocket for an arm, or whether the AI was fooled because I made the catch.

Anyway, I just created you as a player, I didn't put you on any teams. I had already started my season at that point and I couldn't add to the roster. I may do something like that next year, create an OHB team, maybe an IU AND a PU team and put them in the league. Could be fun for everyone to follow their stats all year.
