Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I realize there's an off topic NBA thread somewhere here on the board, but since this is a poll and we don't have an official NBA Topic Thread anywhere on the board, I figured it belongs here in "other sports".

Anyway, I think Boston buckles down and takes this one at home.

Nvm. I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. First, I thought the game was on tomorrow night, and second, I didn't realize they were in Miami.

I'll stick to baseball.

I had to go with the Heat...

I read that most former Seattle Sonics fans are rooting for Miami to beat the team formerly known as the Sonics. It's interesting that hardly anyone follows their former team.

On an ESPN poll this morning the question was who do you think will win the Finals?

The only two states to pick Miami were Florida and Washington. #Bitter

Imagine how pissed they'll be when the Oklahoma City Mariners win the World Series.

Wonder if the Space Needle is moveable.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

When OKl steals Boeing, they can fly the Space Needle down with a fleet of 747's.

Seattle was in the bottom 10 in attendance the Sonics' last 7 seasons so they can save the "we supported our team" bullshit. Clay Bennett is a dick, but they were bad fans too.

Don't you think winning has something to do with attendance? Bad economy and perrenial shitty team translates into poor attendance. That is as much the owners fault as anybodys. These owners move for one reason only...MONEY! It is a business as much as it is a sport. "Fans" have become nothing more than a by-product of the business.

The Sonics sucked almost as bad as the M's during that period.

They weren't great, but for the last few years those teams featured Gary Payton, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis (in his prime), and of course the rookie season of Kevin Durant. In 04-05 the team finished 52-30 and went to the West semis and were still bottom 10 averaging 16k/game (compared to an average of over 17k for road games).

You're right, they had a couple of decent seasons.
