Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

'Merica!
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

I love the Olympics.
Really looking forward to the Phelps vs. Lochte showdowns.

I could watch any of it, and I'm really looking forward to several things, but that's at the top of my list.

I met Missy Franklin over the summer, so I am really pulling for her. my son was in the same warm up lane as her at a meet and was drafting her. He was amazed how much water she moves.

That is awesome.

ESPN and Jeremy Schapp had a special on Sportscenter about her the other day, and I came away quite impressed. She is incredibly poised and well-spoken for such a young lady. You're not alone in pulling for her. Plus, it's pretty cool that someone still in high school is competing at this level!

I'm really pulling for Wambach to get gold and the US women's gymnastics team who I think got screwed last time around with the underage Chinese team. Also LeShawn Merritt in the 400. Unfortunately David Neville didn't qualify this time around, but I'll never forget his dive for 3rd place at the last Olympics. Also have to watch the 100 with the 3 Jamaican sprinters to see if Blake can beat Bolt again.

I am glad they softened the false start rule for the olympics running. automatic DQ on the first false start is brutal enough without counting muscle twitches as false starts.

I wonder if they'll play the Taylor Swift video 'Change' as an intro like they've done previously.
