Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Woohoo! Didn't see it as I'm at a conference, but I couldn't be more ecstatic.
You missed a great one, drench.

Not sure if this is the end of wambach's run but what a way to end a career if that's the case. Couldn't ask for a greater leader.

I'll watch the whole game on replay online when it becomes available.

Just saw Hope's save at the end of the game. Unbelievable.

Damn double post. So in women's soccer when you have your best team at the Olympics would you rather win this or the world cup?

That was insane. She covered the near post baiting her and then pounced like a cat. As good as it gets. I guess that's why she's the best

Don't know if anyone has noticed, but we've blitzed by the Chinese in total medal count the last 2 days. We now lead by 10, including more golds.

I'd prefer World Cup, but that's just me.

Saw some projections and we're suppose to end up 97 and china with 90 I believe... And I think the world cup is more "prestigious" as far as soccer goes but that's just what I heard an announcer say

Yeah, I would tend to agree, but just curious.

You're representing your country in each, but the Olympics seems more patriotic to me. However, like Dut said, the WC seems more prestigious. I guess you're only as good as your last tourney though, so I'm happy we got this one.

I'm really happy for this group that won today. A great group of women that are unselfish and play like a team should.

Plus Alex Morgan is sexy.

Yeah it was a great win. Kinda made me shake my head today...I may have said this before, but I haven't played any competitive soccer in my life except for intramurals in college (if that even counts), and I'm turning into a huge soccer fan. If you would have told me that 10 years ago, I would have bet everything I owned against that happening.

Speaking of Alex Morgan, I don't think I realized until today how good she is. When she gets the ball in the open, no one takes the ball from her. She is as adept at dribbling as any girl I've seen and she's probably the fastest player we have. She's just damn good, especially considering her age. Even when she's not scoring, she is wreaking havoc on the defense. Her looks don't hurt here, but she's going to be an absolute joy to watch the next several years.

lol sorry Bri. Our teams aren't even rivals, but there isn't much MLS fanhood on this board.
