Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Best part of the opening ceremony: entrance of the three members from the recently dissolved Netherlands Antilles which compete under the title 'Independent Athletes'.

I guess it's the tape delay aspect and already knowing what's going to happen, but the Olympics just aren't doing it for me this year.

Damn internet.

Man Phelps gave the US a huge lead in the 4x100 relay and Jones and Lochte gave it up, finishing 2nd. That was disappointing.

I <3 the Olympics but hate that I have to avoid every single website all day long as not to see a spoiler.

Eel, your girl (Missy Franklin) is turning into an American sensation. Her personality is so engaging...makes her impossible not to like.

Yeah. Kudos to Jordan Wieber for going out and kicking ass after being left out of the individual finals.

Indeed, and congrats to the other girls as well. After seeing the men implode yesterday, they hunkered down today and fucking kilt it.

I'm looking forward to watching that replay tonight. I have 3 older sisters so I grew up watching women's gymnastics.

The most excited I've been over a gold so far this year.

Plus she is a hell of a swimmer.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Well, obviously, or they wouldn't talk about her in the first place. It's going to be hard to turn down those endorsement deals after she gets home from London.

Why would she turn them down?
